Why Kitui Residents Yearn For Dr Malombe's Leadership

Development maverick Dr Malombe The air is pregnant with expectation. Every voter in Kitui county wants Dr Malombe in leadership. The man is tried, tested and he succeeded.  Dr Malombe is coming to serve the mwananchi without favour or discrimination. He's a prudent manager of public resources and will ensure equitable sharing of the county cake.  County govt staff can rest easy; he will look after their welfare. His is people driven agenda.   Chief justice (rtd) Willy Mutunga   Retired Chief Justice Dr Willy Mutunga has praised Kitui’s pioneer governor Dr Julius Malombe for the good development work and service delivery to Kitui people which the pioneer governor offered when he was at the helm of county leadership. Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV last night, Dr Mutunga who comes from Kitui county singled out Dr Malombe, saying he was one of the few governors who are credited with good track record in initiating life changing projects in their counties. The former CJ noted that Dr Malombe initiated signature projects that are dotted across all the villages in the county, while ensuring prudent and accountable use of public funds. “…when I go to Kitui I find things that  happened...things that were giving us trouble  in the past.
