SEKEB Professionals Root For Community's Inclusion In Government

Today the leadership of South Eastern Kenya Professionals and Business Foundation held consultations with Akamba Leadership Forum, generally known as APEX, under the chairmanship of Archbishop Timothy Ndambuki.  The Forum brings together the Association of Ukambani Church Leaders, Ukambani Council of Elders, Atumia ma Thome and the Akamba Clans Governing Council, and its mission is "to promote the unity of the Akamba community, mentorship of leaders, promotion of good governance, and integral sustainable development."  During the meeting, we discussed the economic and political status of the Region and Country and analyzed various possible scenarios and outcomes, especially their impact in Lower Eastern.  We agreed that the consultations and collaboration will continue, but there was a consensus that it will be important to be part of the government come August 2022.

Excitement in Kitui Township As Youthful Aspirant Romps In

His name is Raphael Muvengei Mutukaa, the youthful aspirant for Kitui Township Ward.  Mutukaa (pictured) strongly believes he is the leader who will take Kitui Township residents to the next level in terms of representation, legislation and oversight roles at Kitui county Assembly.  His supporters say he is youthful, energetic, vibrant and a go getter who connects very well with people.  Raphael was born in Kitui Township and understands the Ward so well. 3 Ukambani Governors Have No Clout

Mr Campbell Munyambu   The three Ukambani Governors who are purporting to have ganged up against Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka have been smoked out of their hideout.  The three; Charity Ngilu, Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua have been dismissed as a three tier evil that is making political noise for political preservation. Mwingi Professionals Forum Coordinator Campbell Munyambu says the three are seeking for political survival and notes that their bid to divide the Kamba community has backfired.  Munyambu who spoke to reporters in Mwingi town reiterates that the Kamba community -  in Ukambani and in the diaspora is firmly behind Kalonzo Musyoka since he has proven to be a reliable leader over the years.  "These governors are chasing after the wind.
