Our Reporter   In a bid to boost food security in Kitui, the County Government led by Governor Julius Malombe is set to initiate and operationalize 26 irrigation clusters in different Wards across the county in the Financial year 2023/2024.  This was revealed by Water and Irrigation CECM Peter Nkunda who Indicated that only 3,091 hectares out of a possible 11,095 hectares of irrigable land is currently under irrigation.   Can't represent Kamba community, declares professionals' leader Campbell Munyambu By Guest Reporter    The Mwingi coordinator for Professionals Forum and Business Community Mr Campbell Munyambu has dismissed as a joke the recent congregation of some Kamba leaders at statehouse. Speaking Friday with reporters in Mwingi town, Mr. Munyambu stated that the team that went to statehouse under the guise of representing the Kamba community were self seekers and tumbocrats who only advance their selfish politics. Unfit Our Reporter   Raila Odinga's Africa Union Commission chairmanship bid which is seemingly headed for a crushing doom has received cold water from the coordinator of Mwingi professionals Forum Mr Campbell Munyambu. Addressing the press today in Mwingi town, Mr Munyambu stated that the AU chairmanship position needs a man of admirable diplomacy and acceptable character, which Raila lacks. Mr Munyambu pointed out that Raila lacks the requisite credentials to head the AU commision, adding that in Africa, Raila has earned the dubious fame of being a warmonger and lacking in consistency.
