Can't represent Kamba community, declares professionals' leader Campbell Munyambu

The Mwingi coordinator for Professionals Forum and Business Community Mr Campbell Munyambu has dismissed as a joke the recent congregation of some Kamba leaders at statehouse.

Speaking Friday with reporters in Mwingi town, Mr. Munyambu stated that the team that went to statehouse under the guise of representing the Kamba community were self seekers and tumbocrats who only advance their selfish politics.

The professional was categorical that the meeting with the unpopular president would yield nothing because the leaders who sneaked into statehouse do not represent the community.

"That was just a bunch of jokers and self seekers who cannot talk on behalf of the Kamba community. The Kamba community did not sent them to statehouse" Munyambu declared.

The Mwingi top professionals leader pointed out that president William Ruto does not respect the Kamba community, owing to the skewed appointment in his government and the manner in which he has marginalized the community in terms of development.

He dismissed those in Ruto's government such as CS Alfred Mutua and PS Jonathan Mueke & Terry Mbaika as mere flower girls with nothing to offer the community.

"Ruto has treated the Kamba community with utter contempt. It's funny how he invites self seekers and political rejects purpotedly to discuss about the welfare of the community" charged Munyambu.

He pointed out that if the president was serious and wanted to hear the voice of the Kamba community, he would have invited leading lights such as the community's kingpin; Kalonzo Musyoka and other credible leaders such as senator Maanzo, Governor Malombe, Muthama, Mutula Jnr.

"Any congregation that doesn't have the face of these people is a sick joke. It cannot amount to anything," he asserted. 

Others who joined CS Mutua, PS Mueke, PS Terry Mbaika and Monicah Juma at statehouse for the "hot air" meeting were MPs Mwengi Mutuse, Caleb Mule, Kaki Nyamai, Nimrod Mbai, Vincent Kawaya & senators Tabitha & Beth Syengo. 

Jokers?

At the same time, Mr. Munyambu also rubbished the union between Ruto and Raila in the pretext of a broad based government, saying such a union is only meant to benefit only Raila and his ODM scavengers.

He faulted Raila for being a sell out and hypocrite who advances sectarian politics even after benefitting from the support of Kamba community for over 15 years.

"That old man thrives on the death and blood of Kenyans. He is a thankless person, he should be disowned by all Kenyans," Munyambu advised.

Hypocritical betrayer 

On Kalonzo, the professional advised the Wiper leader to forthwith cut his ties with Raila and chart his own political path with other like minded leaders.

"Kalonzo must know that Raila is a betrayer and will never support him. He should forge forward without Raila. Our covenant with Raila is irretrievably broken" he stated, adding that the former VP stands a better chance at the presidency in 2027.
