Our Reporter   Governor Malombe was today among other governors who joined President William Ruto at Uhuru Park in Nairobi where the head of state flagged off Community Health Promoters' kits to the counties. Governor Malombe flags water tanks   Our Reporter   Over 1200 women drawn from three Wards have today (Monday Sep 11) benefitted from a donation of water tanks from a Korean organisation meant to boost food security at household level and generate income. The donation from Korean International Corporation Agency (KOICA) is a testament to how Governor Julius Malombe's administration is  working closely with development partners to advance the cause of development for the benefit of Kitui county residents.  The women farmers from the 3 wards of Kauwi, Mutomo and Athi have been co-opted into a four year project dubbed economic empowerment for women through climate smart agriculture by the county government. Our Reporter   It is another win for Kitui County after drugs and essential non pharmaceutical products worth KSH 84 Million were received few days ago. Drugs for Mwingi Hospital   Our Reporter   It is joy and celebration for the people of Mwingi town and its environs after a consignment of much needed drugs were delivered to Mwingi Level IV hospital this morning (Friday). The delivery of the drugs consignment is in line with Governor Malombe's strategy to revamp the health sector and operationalize the health facilities to offer timely and quality healthcare services to the county residents. The drugs consignment was received by the hospital's deputy medical superintendent Dr Kennedy Fundi on behalf of his boss Dr Hellen Munyao alongside other health officers and county government officials.
