It is another win for Kitui County after drugs and essential non pharmaceutical products worth KSH 84 Million were received few days ago.

The consignment from KEMSA makes Kitui County the first among the 47 counties to receive the essential commodities in this financial year - 2023/2024.

Speaking while overseeing the drugs distribution to both Kitui and Mwingi level IV hospitals, county minister in charge of Health and Sanitation Ruth Koki said that Dr Julius Malombe's administration is committed to ensuring that all health facilities across the county are functional, well equipped and stocked to offer quality and timely health services to county residents.

Madam Koki noted that the county government will work closely with KEMSA to continually deliver essential medical supplies to boost health service delivery in the County.

The heath sector sits at the top of Governor Malombe's development agenda to ensure that the county residents are kept healthy and productive.
