Incoming Kitui governor Dr Julius Malombe has become the talk of every town and village where residents who are hungering for development and services have vowed to back him for the county top seat.  Everywhere Dr Malombe goes, disillusioned residents have only one wish to make; that he comes back to serve the Kitui population. Dr Malombe at New Apostolic Church Kinakoni Residents of Voo/kyamatu ward in Kitui East have vowed to rally behind Dr Julius Malombe as he seeks to redeem the county from wanting and corrupt leadership. The excited residents received Dr Malombe at New Apostolic Church, Kinakoni in Voo/Kyamatu ward where the pioneer governor worshipped this Sunday. The locals said just like others from across the county, they were tired and fatigued by the hopeless mbee nzei regime and called on Dr Malombe to gun for the top seat without fail.  They said ever since Ngilu came to power. Dr Julius Malombe, the people's choice Pioneer Kitui governor Dr. Julius Malombe has called on Kitui residents to join forces and ensure that embattled Kaluki Ngilu is ousted as governor. Dr Malombe regretted that under Ngilu, Kitui County was stuck and nothing is moving. Favourite Dr Malombe For his unbeatable development track record  when he served as the pioneer governor of Kitui County, Dr Julius Malombe has continued to attract admiration among Kitui voters following Ngilu's spectacular failure. And in an online Opinion Poll that was designed by Ngilu's slaves to try  and push up her popularity, Dr Malombe emerged the most favoured  candidate for Kitui's gubernatorial seat in 2022 general elections. With the next election just few months away, senator Kiio Wambua has maintained an unassailable lead ahead of his competitors who are wobbling behind, according to the latest opinion poll.  The online opinion poll that was concluded yesterday placed senator Wambua at 65.73 percent of the respondents, making him the most popular and liked candidate for senatorial seat come 2022.  His closest competitor is Mwingi lawyer Nyamu Mati who scrapped a miserable 18.7 percent followed by Allan Sila who garnered a measly 4.31 percent.  Other pretenders to the throne were Julius Mutukaa who also managed 4 percent and Stephen Kilonzo who was dismissed with 3 percent by the respondents.
